Recovery & Rehabilitation

EMS training holds promise in supporting physical therapy for individuals that have undergone surgeries (e.g. knee or hip replacement) or individuals with neurological conditions (e.g. stroke or spinal cord injuries).

The adaptability of EMS devices allows our team to tailor stimulation parameters to each patient's specific needs, offering a potential avenue for more effective and personalised treatment approaches in recovery and rehabilitation.

Physical therapy

EMS can be used as a complementary tool in physical therapy to enhance joint mobility and improve range of motion. In some cases, EMS may be incorporated into rehabilitation programs after surgeries (e.g. knee or hip replacement) to aid in muscle recovery.

Neurological conditions

In individuals with certain neurological conditions, such as stroke or spinal cord injuries, EMS may be used to activate muscles that are otherwise difficult to engage voluntarily.
